Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. When you use SearchLocalPro on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.

Contractors and service providers must submit license, insurance, and business information, which we check against state licensing records. SearchLocalPro verifies license status and insurance on file; we do not guarantee the quality or workmanship of any contractor, and we do not perform background checks on individual workers.

Customers may post projects describing the work they need. Contractors may submit bids on projects they are licensed and able to perform.

You are responsible for the agreements you enter with other users. SearchLocalPro is a marketplace that connects customers and contractors; it is not a party to the contracts they form, and it does not perform the work.

Where SearchLocalPro facilitates payments, you agree to the applicable payment terms presented at the time. Fees, when they apply, are shown before you commit. Disputes about the work itself are between the customer and the contractor.

Do not misuse the platform. That includes posting false or misleading information, impersonating others, circumventing verification, harassing users, scraping data, or using the service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms or that put other users at risk.

You keep ownership of the content you submit. You grant SearchLocalPro a license to host, display, and use that content as needed to operate and promote the services. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the content you post.

SearchLocalPro is provided “as is.” We verify contractor licenses against state records and confirm insurance on file, but we do not warrant the quality, safety, or outcome of any project, and we make no guarantee that a contractor will be available or that a project will be completed.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SearchLocalPro is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from any agreement or work between users.

You may stop using SearchLocalPro and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the platform and its users.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of SearchLocalPro means you accept the updated Terms.
